Recently I completed my third laser treatment for full legs. I'm in between skin type three or four. I had my treatment yesterday and had appropriate reactions to the laser. My skin was red and bumpy due to swollen hair follicles. My legs stayed that way for a day (the redness went away in like 30 min) and now it looks normal. I have been treated with the Candela Gentlelase 755nm Alex laser (all three times) I have been shedding at around 2.5 to 3 weeks. I thought that my treatment was going fine, but last time I visited my physician for treatment I got to know that laser setting they use is 9j. I have no idea what the spot size is, but I know that 9j is low. The treatments hurt like hell at some points and are ok at others. Please suggest what should I do? Am I wasting my time and money?

    Hey there!!!
Yes, I think your physician is not using appropriate laser setting for your skin type. You can consult other board certified physician for relevant information related to your laser treatment. Before visiting Les CosMedics Clinic, Rajouri Garden, Delhi, I was treated by an inexperienced physician who used wrong laser setting for my skin type II, it caused skin burns. However, at Les CosMedics Clinic, I got desired hair removal result within eight laser sessions for the legs and arms. I hope my answer was of some help.
