    hi!

could anyone who has done this coursework please give me a hand? my title is determine the best method for finding the purity of aspirin and the best catalyst for the synthesis of it.

i have thought of titration, back titration and colorimetry. do i need to make my own for the synthesis and use 3 different acids to determine the best catalyst? and for the purity use my own and 2 shop boughts?

If the purity means the concentration of a chemical substance, then the titration is a method to determine the purity of the aspirine. But if purity means the shares of a chemical substance, so a chromatography is the better method to determine it. By this method different colors come into being after the process of the chromatography which are stand for different ingredients of the substance.
