Hi, I applied for child nursing, but unfortunately didn't get in so I will be in clearing applying for the same course. I want rewrite my personal statement so it will include updated and more relevant work experience and just to make it better as first time it was rushed and rubbish.
Can you use a different personal statement in clearing ?
If so what do you do on the day ?
    Thank you

There is no point in doing a new one, as universities only ask for one in case of a change of course. In the unlikely event of child nursing being in clearing (and you should ready yourself for it not being) you can tell them about the extra work experience in an interview. However, it is intensely competitive and you would almost certainly be more successful in taking a year out and putting in a better application for a year's time.

Thank you for your reply, I thought that might be the case. I know its highly unlikely but I've got to try! You never know unless you try. I suppose applying next year wouldn't hurt.

Research clearing lists in advance - some unis release them early, before you can apply. Also, track might well update before you get your results are released by your college. Hit refresh a lot...
