Hi, looking to self study Economics with Edexcel this year (self studied Geography last year) as a very mature student.
Could anyone tell me which textbooks their schools use for this subject.

For Edexcel I use tutor2u notes and anforme textbooks. Anderton, in my opinion, is not very good and outdated. I think is going to be very difficult to self study the unit, you may want to consider enrolling in a course, exam technique is very important and constant monitoring of your work.

Hi, thanks for the advice. Unfortunately i'm not in a position to enrol in a course. Will await my AS and A2 geography results from last year, look at some economic exam papers and then decide whether a private tutor is a must have.

Hi I'm also self studying economics, self study is so much better than 10 years a go with a wealth of resources. There some good videos out there pajholden and berkley on youtube.

I'm concerned about feedback on the 25 mark question so hoping to get some private tutorship.

I believe that's AQA not edexcel. While I agree there is lots of resources available exam technique is important and can only get that with practice. A2 would be more challenging since there are more essays to write for AQA.
