I had one. Didnt use it once.

Although, with living miles away from the city didn't help. There's a lot of good offers in there, how useful it is just depends on how much you're going to use it.

Also, I've heard that a lot of the discounts offered in the snapFax are the same as the discount you get with your student card, so it would really be £2 better spend...I mean you could get a happy meal from McD's and still have a penny change for that :p:

Thanks Nathan. It looks better than the NUS extra card though when you compare the costs of them.
They're crap. And really dodgy. I distributed them once.

Really dodgy? How so?

Are they not free anymore? Tsk.

But yes, I can't imagine anything NUS being of any value to anybody either.

They are £1 unless you are in one of the new cities, then they are free.

For the new one? You can only pre-order them just now as well.
Reply 10
no, this was like 9 months ago i think :s-smilie:

i had one 2 years ago when they were good, but the offers aren't as good anymore.
Reply 12
You have to pay for them in Edinburgh certainly.
And going by people who I know who sell them...

basically last years was nothing in comparison to the year's before, and the price was double! Just use your student card everywhere and ask if they do student discounts. :p:

They paid you from the back seat of some guys car.
They're selling them in Edinburgh for like £7 or £8!! But yeh, it's good if you like go to the Edinburgh Dungeons or TGI Fridays alot haha Last years had like 15% off the Hard Rock Café though, so we went looooooads, so in one respect it was good because it saved us 15% each time, but on the other hand we'd have sttill saved about £15 a week 'cause we wouldn't have gone in the first place.. hmm lol

The 15% off at Jimmy Chungs makes the card tempting in Aberdeen
Reply 17
the cards were only £2 last year in edinburgh...
Reply 18
my glasgow one cost me £2 last year. they're charging a fiver for them this year. but cos i had one before, i'm on the snapfax mailing list, so i got an email giving me a code which lets me get it for £2 instead of £5. if anybody wants the code let me know, but its only valid until august 31st

15% off in Jimmy Chungs - if they have that in the Edinburgh one that rocks!
Edinburgh Dungeon - you get money off vouchers on the back of lothian bus tickets in Edinburgh
