Long story short I was doing this short course at a college but droppedout due to mainly being lazy but also the teaching was awful but to be fair I could have compensated... tbh I just need that certificate. How do I face the course teacher its been about two years, I left with no explanation just simply stopped turning up, I really want to give it another go though but what excuse can I make? obviously pride is another issue. Anyone been in a similar situation?

If the teaching was awful, why would you want to go back?

You could go to a different college and start a fresh If not, I'd just say that at the time you didn't think the course was for you (so you dropped out) but now you feel more like you know which career path you want to go down
