Contact the universities and ask them if they have any available spaces in Clearing. You can switch course, and you won't be obligated to drop any offers you have unless they say yes. You should do this when you have your exam results, but be prepared to do an interview and have a portfolio of music ready to show your skills.

Some of the best UK unis for Music Technology (my research) are:

  • Kingston University (London)
  • Bucks New University (High Wycombe)
  • Surrey University (Guildford)
  • BIMM (Brighton, Bristol, Dublin or Manchester)
  • Tech Music School (London)
  • Academy of Music (Guildford)
  • Solent University (Southampton)
  • Goldsmiths University (London)

A few of these will have places in clearing, but some courses offered may not be by the name of "Music Technology", they may have different names such as Music Production, Studio Production, Digital Music, etc.

Good luck!
