I'm studying... I'm studying GCSE's from September, my options are: Triple Science, Drama, History and French. Also, Religious Studies is compulsory at my school.

I'm interested in... I'm interested in English Literature, which is by far my favourite subject, I love it! History interests me too, as do languages. Personally, I feel I have a natural aptitude for Drama. I wouldn't want to pursue an acting career or anything, I just enjoy performing

I'm thinking about... At my school, in the first two weeks back in September, we have the chance to switch any options we particularly detest for our reserves. I've been contemplating switching from French to Art for months now, as I receive higher levels in Art, and prefer it to French. I am sure French will be more useful, but I don't currently wish to carry on with it at A level, so I'd be quite happy to change it for Art. However, switching would result in not qualifying for the EBacc. I don't know how much the EBacc is worth, is it simply an initiative to get more students to take Language and Humanities GCSE's? Or will I really benefit from having it? What a dilemma:/
