So as I cook a fair bit I'm thinking about creating a food blog for all my ideas and recipes however I was also thinking of doing something similar but for restaurant reviews as I tend to go to many exclusive places in London and Paris with the occasional place in Dubai, LA and NYC thrown in.

My question is should I combine both as at the start I'll most likely be more focused on my own food creations than those of others at restaurants or should I start of with the food one then at some point down the line start up a separate blog for restaurant reviews?

    What do you all think?

I think you should include both. Write your own recipes an ideas down but use the mention of your inspirations of the dish to talk about the time you visited a restaurant.
I spend lots of time in LA and NYC, which restaurants do you recommend? Personally I'm a big fan of Patsy's Italian Restaurant or Keen's.

You can have both. Have on section of your blog dedicated to food recipes and the other for food reviews.

definitely go with both. People love places reviewed in a non biased, honest way! it will be easier to attract visitors this way too.
