Whether to see SBTRKT in London or Manchester? Watch

Right, so in September I'm hopefully going to UoM. Also in September SBTRKT is touring (namely in London and Manchester).

Where I live right now, I'm not too far from London, and finding some friends to go with won't be a problem as their all going to uni in the South East. The trouble is it will be difficult and expensive to travel from Manchester to London and back for one night.

On the other hand, going to the Manchester gig will be much easier and much more affordable. However, I'd rather not go alone if I can help it. Part of the experience is enjoying the performance with friends who also are into the band and all that. The problem here is by the time I'm living in Manchester, the tickets will certainly be sold out so even if I find some people I want to go with, they're not going to be able to get tickets (unless they've already bought some, but this isn't that likely). I pondered buying extra, but I thought it might be quite risky, and possibly weird if someone you've know for a few days all of a sudden offers you concert tickets.

I also want to go see Little Dragon in November, and am in a similar dilemma.

    Thoughts?

What a terrible quandary. If only you knew someone in going to Manchester already!
