burnt fingers- help

i just burnt my fingers really bad. i put them under the tap for 10 mins and for the past half hour have had a bag of frozen peas on it. but my fingers really really hurt and i was wondering if theres anything i can put on them to stop the hurting. someone mentioned putting soap [?!] on to stop the air getting to it..... please help! i have to go out soon and dont fancy taking a bag of peas shopping in london!

You need to use a burn cream or spray that will instantly cool and stop the pain, run to the chemist

Put them in the freezer for a while.

take off the frozen-ness, your propbably getting cold burn instead.

put something on them with aloevera, it helps lots.
stops theburning and the pain and helps the healing!
else i guess ice is good. but wrap it in a towel so you dont get ice burns.

Anybody actually know what they're doing?

What might be relevant is to ask what the burnt area looks like and how it happened - treatment depends on the size, severity and mechanism of the burn.

I hate burns, i have so many!! My fingers have currently gone septic from burning them on my straightners! Just keep them in cold water like you are doing and try savlon, or some cream on them to keep them clean! I didnt do any of this and when i got foam on my hands, my burns blistered and really need cleaning with TCP which im dreading because it hurts so damn much!!
