It's nearly 20 years since Israel and Jordan were to sign a peace treaty between the two nations. This was an encouraging time for the region as it may have also had a positive impact on the 'palestinian' situation.

Unfortunately on the eve of signing the treaty, the 'palestinans' decided to try and scupper peace by sending a suicide bomber to blow up bus in Tel-Aviv, killing 22 and injuring 50.

The Dizengoff Street bus bombing was a Hamas suicide attack on a passenger bus driving down Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv in 1994. At that time, it was the deadliest suicide bombing in Israeli history, and the first successful attack in Tel Aviv.[1] Twenty-two civilians were killed and 50 were injured. [2]The attack was planned by Hamas chief Yahya Ayyash, on the eve of the signing of the Israel-Jordan Treaty of Peace.

Luckily this act of savagery did not stop the peace accords being signed.
