Anyone have any online resources that would help with the Bristol maths course for undergrads? I want to start studying to get a bit of a head start, to stay fresh, and also because I am bored out of my wits.
    Mainly that last one.
I'm looking for anything that would be relevant to the course, but nothing too advanced - really, I just want to start at the start, but a bit earlier.

Don't know how serious you want to get but Liebeck's Intro to Pure Mathematics (look around, you can find it for cheaper elsewhere) is a good introductory read. Have a look at the Summer of Maths 2013 thread, some nice resources there. If you want to start studying for your course then the Oxford Mathematical institute website is rich in lecture notes.

I would also recommend this book!

    **** buying books:

Use the library as much as possible. You should always avoid buying books unless you've got one from the library (or some sample online) and really feel it would benefit you throughout your academic career. You won't be able to tell this right now, but you will in September when you start your degree.

I recommend enjoying your summer and just keeping your brain active. But yeah, that site is available if you want.
