after dropping out university this summer due to be being a lazy wasteman doing a course i dislike, i have got two routes i can take.
a) Take a year out working whilst living at my dad/stepmums house, then re-apply and go back to uni doing international relations or politics ( a subject that I enjoy). Since I put no effort into A-Levels I'd have to go to a middle of the road uni like Coventry, UWE etc.
b)My mum can get me a place at MGIMO, a university in Moscow which specializes in Politics and International Relations. Whilst it is a much better university than Cov,UWE etc I would struggle there initially. I can speak and write in Russian but not at a university essay standard so the effort I would have to put in would be unreal. Also I'd be surrounded by people smarter than me since I can only get a place there since my mum has links ennit blud. But a degree from here would mean a guaranteed good job in Russia. My whole family lives in Russia which is a plus but I'd have to sacrifice my mates and the sport I play.
I need to decide asap but I'm so stumped. What would you do in my shoes.
what life option should i choose? Watch

From what you've told us it would probably boil down to whether you can learn Russian quickly enough to a university standard. Obviously in a situation like this there are so many things that need to be taken into account which only you know, but if I were you, I'd go to the Russian Uni and work my ass of to learn Russian as quickly as possible.

I imagine the type of networking you could do in Russia would be amazing.
