    I just wondered how come I have been turned away using my citzen card when it has my birth of date ?.has this happened to anyone else before ?

    Hi there, I've been turned away with this same card. It is up to company policy/ individual decisions whether they accept them or not. No one HAS to accept these cards (even though they are legit) unless it forms part of their licensing conditions.

    They look fake as anything, even though they are 100% legit. So some people are bound to be put off.

    loads of places don't accept them.
    Better off with a passport or Drivers licence.

    Sorry, Its always crap getting turned away at bars.

    I guess it's what bouncers are familiar with, what looks most legitimate and what ID is perceived to be easiest to to obtain with false DOB.
