Santander: They give you a Railcard (50% off Trains)

Natwest: They give you a Tastecard (50% off food in thousands of restaurants/take aways).

Both come with an overdraft. (Subject to credit checks).

Get applying now because it requires up to a month to set them up.

I was going to go with Santander but I've heard their customer service and general services (like online banking, transferring money etc.) are quite poor.

Depends where you apply to, a month sounds extremely excessive. I just set up a second account with Santander and it took 4 working days in total to get them to set it up, and send my new card/details. Not bad for applying online over a weekend!

Santander if you travel via train a lot.

If you don't, then nothing matters, just join one and get an overdraft, they're all likely to give you the same amount anyway no matter what they say 'up to' with.

I've gone for coop, applied online and had card, pin etc in a week. The overdraft is also guaranteed as long as your accepted for the account £1400 in first year, £1700 in second and £2000 in third.
