Is that so? Well we are in agreement. What an outrage. If the people choose to vote for GD and support them then that is the party which must be appointed.

It shows that there is no real democracy in the world, only the strain of democracy which serves the people who have real power and influence.

Look at how the BNP are marginalised and vilified in the UK and yet many people support them and they are a legitimate political party

Regardless of their policies, I wouldn't vote for a party that discriminates based on race. Religion, however, would be a different story.

The eradication of fascism was a proclaimed policy of the EU because, you know, it lead to the death of upwards of sixty million people in the 20th century.

Golden Dawn are far too extreme. I hate the label far-right how can you compare UKIP to Golden Dawn? Or France's National Front are moderates despite the media's cries of anti-Semitism from them. . Golden Dawn are extremists but even so I wouldn't ban them. At the end of the day they are ultra nationalists who want the best for Greek people while the left don't give a **** about the the poverty and issues Greek's are facing.

Mao killed probably around 50 million, Stalin killed 20 million (at least), around 4 million or died under Lenin, the Khmer Rouge killed about 3 million, Menghistu killed a million. So that's around 80 million deaths as a result of communism (but probably more, realistically) yet Communist parties aren't looked upon nearly as badly.

Because Communism has never been able to find support in Europe, as opposed to the East. Regardless, Communism being bad doesn't absolve Fascism of any of its sins.

Eh after WW2 countries in Europe came closing to falling to communism a few times. Of course it's not really a threat anymore but I still think it should be treated similar to how Fascism is.

Why? I can't say I like communism at all, but these sorts of ideas go completely against the concept of democracy. Banning certain parties creates pseudo-democratic systems, the will of the people is so easily ignored if the parties they support are illegal.

Hardly. There were countries in Eastern Europe, sure, but that was because they were in the pocket of the USSR. Where else Communism did rear its ugly head there were repercussions for the parties, in the FRG for example.
