If you check barclays/co=-op, one of their eligibility criterias for the loan is that you must intend on working within the EU/European Economic Area.

This by itself seems rather vague; can they actually restrict you from working out of the EU for the duration you pay your masters debts back?

They dont even specify for how long - again it seems unclear.

The key word is "intend". If you tell them that you *intend* to work there when you apply, you might unaccountably find that the only work you get offered after graduation, is outside that area. Nobody can predict the future.

The small print is possibly to ensure that you stay in the EU and pay back your loan. Easier for debt collection.

can Barclays - A non-governmental corporation that, by law, generally has the same rights and powers as a public citizen - restrict you from working outside the European Economic Area?

Of-course i have every intention of trying to work in the EEA, but i suppose, as you say, you can never say for sure what the future holds.

    No, they cannot.
