    Hey!

I have recently been pushed out of my group for having a boyfriend (childish I know AND I'm nearly 19 years old *groan*) and I know that maybe they weren't good friends in the first place but I'm left lonely and in need of something to delve into. My boyfriend has the best mates going for him and I refuse to keep spending all my time with him! We are two different people and we have only been together for half a year we need our own space! When I'm with him I'm so happy and he is always telling me hes happy (he's a soppy sort ahaha) but as I said, I must have my own life too, away from him.

So, has anyone got any ideas for a hobby? I can't dance anymore because of an injury, I was thinking horse riding? But is that also a good way to make some friends?! I known for being an animal lover, I'm pretty much obsessed with the Animal world...

    Thank you so much x

Try different things you think you might enjoy, even if they don't actually introduce you to new people there's bound to be a community attached to the activity where you could make friends. An example, my hobby is playing poker which is seemingly quite a lonely thing to do but I have spoke to a lot of people (online and through the society at university) by having that as a mutual interest.

If you like music you could learn an instrument? You don't have to play one at a high level to play in some orchestras anyway so you can make friends there too
