I am confused because there are several.

ACCA appears to be the most sought after though.

    What should I go for?

What are the best places to obtain resources?

Is it possible to self-study or should I attend an institution to be tutored?

Thank you so much for the advice.

First question: What kind of accountancy related job do you want to do? Management accounting, auditing, tax advisory, corporate finance, financial accounting, public sector accounting?

Second question: How do you intend to get the qualification? Self study and look for part qualified jobs, or join a grad scheme or a school leavers scheme? Do you have or intend to get a relevant degree?

ACCA, ACA, CA, CIMA , CIPFA (or CTA if you decide to do tax) are all well respected qualifications - the main question is not 'what is the most sought after' it's about what is appropriate for the career you are intending to have.
