I currently workout 5 days a week, have a pretty good diet and feel my body is in pretty good shape however I cannot lose fatty tissue around my chest area. I have tried jogging, rowing machine etc. with no great results and this has given me real self body confidence issues. Any tips on how to lose this fat? Do I need to persevere with the cardio to lose it? Or potentially make my chest workouts more intense?

What routine are you doing in the gym?

To lose weight, workout your Total Daily Energy Expenditure, use Myfitnesspal to count your calories and eat ~500 calories under your TDEE to lose a lb or so of weight a week. If you lose much more than this, slow it down. If you lose less than this for more than a fortnight, cut your calories more

As angry says you'll need to lose weight to lose the fat rather than trying to 'burn the fat on your chest off' by doing exercises in that area.

Counting your calories is necessary especially at first, so you come to understand how easy it is to consume too much from stuff like juices, bread and fizzy drinks.
