    Advise?

Ignore me if i come to you as stupid or whatever but i was wondering,
so i'm getting about 7 + grand for my maintenance and my accommodation is likely to be around 110 a week, i've worked out to have a bit more than enough
Would it be stupid to spend money on clothes with my student loan before i leave? I'm not talking a lot of money, but if you think it would be a safe thing to do , how much would you recommend i spend? and of course if you think its a terrible idea then say so too, welcome to all feed back

I don't it will depend entirely on your ability to budget and the amount of money you're budgeting. I think you should work out a proper detailed budget taking into account food, nights out, laundry, books, emergencies ect and see how much money you will have left over from all of this.

I personally was able to buy clothes with some of my student finance money every now and again but my accommodation was only 83ppw and I spent very little on food compared to other people.
