I am going into year 12 and my current A-Level choices are:
Maths Biology Chemistry French Philosophy
However, I am not 100% sure about French and was thinking about swapping to Economics (OCR) - I think I might enjoy taking it however it would be useful to have any thoughts on the subject. Would it be worth taking/is it enjoyable?

Both are respected subjects, but beyond that are completely different. Economics itself is a really interesting concept, and the A-level does retain a decent amount of that. It's an odd mix between science and arts - inclusion of essay questions but a generally scientific approach - which can be a nice break from the formal sciences. If you have an interest in the news/politics, it can also really help give some context to what's been going on.
As always with A-level choices, you should choose the subject you think you will enjoy the most - happy, interested students consistently do better in exams. Perhaps read a few articles on the bbc or similar about economics and see if anything piques your interest?
