So I was denied accommodation for my first year of uni at UCA in Farnham so have had to quickly be room hunting and have found a great place but they are asking me to cough up over a grand in fees because my contract starts the 1st of August. I don't exactly have a grand laying around. I have enough to cover a deposit but not enough to cover everything. Any advice anyone that may have been through this before. Should i be contacting banks to get an overdraft to pay for it with? Any other advice?

How come you were rejected out of interest? Did they say?

How far away from the University do you live?

I live about 45 miles from UCA which must just be too close to them to have a priority but it is still way too far to commute so I've had to look to renting somewhere
