This question is silly. Fantasy will be completely different from reality. A lot of women might say doctor, but would they be prepared to put up with the long hours a doctor has to work? Would their lifestyle be compatible?

    Whichever makes the most money.

But of course all that goes out of the money once a legit male model comes into the scene. In that case he could be broke living with his parents and women would still date him.

I'd say all of those jobs would be on equal grounds. Preferably something that doesn't have long hours.

Oh, and also not farmer. probably not artist either.

EDIT: What category would an oil baron or political party leader come under?

As a science student, I would be more likely to go for someone in the science field e.g doctor, researcher etc but in reality, I'm with someone who isn't involved with science but at least has an interest in it.

I wouldn't want someone who worked all the time so I'd never choose a Doctor.
Even if they had a load of money.

I said Smith because they wouldn't work as many hours and they can still earn a good amount of money.
I wouldn't want a warrior. They could die D: I wouldn't deal well with the pain.

The poll only allows for one option, but I want to vote for four. Plus I don't see the option for a political leader up there.

    depending on the leaders skill.

i would put it under artist if he was spokes person

or doctor if he was a behind the scenes economist.

well oil industry would have a few things. it could be farmer as its labour that produces a land based product thats been refined. like wheat becomes flour.

however if you're talking about a man who does not extract the oil from the ground but merely trades it.

    then a merchant.

    they are simplistic models.

a priest could be an artist as it involves winning crowds and audiences just like an actors does on stage.

a politician who is behind the scenes taking bribes and bribing would be a merchant.

the roles are more to do with the character than the literal career.

because their skill set put into a job role might change things.

    artists need an audience.

    merchants need markets

    craftsmen need workshops

    soldiers need battlefields

    doctors need offices

    farmers need the land

do you make your living from the land? from an audience? at the market? the workshop? the battlefield? or the office?
