    My education history:

    SATS: 4,5,5

    GCSES: BBBcCdddduu

    A-lvl: DDC

    Degree: English language 2.2

I'm thinking of doing a masters in Islamic studies although I know nothing about Islam I think it can open ways to becoming a Muslim scholar. I want to know what the pay is like and if the job offers genuine opportunity for progression.

Google doesn't come up with anything but I would assume trainee scholars earn under 20,000 but more respected, senior scholars earn up to 40,000? Sounds decent

I haven't read the Quran or know nothing about Islam but my degree in English has given me the tools to analyse the Quran and tell ppl what to do

Discuss?? Any tips? Is it respected how does it compare to say dentistry
