Why do people care about other people's sex lives?

I don't understand why people care how many times people have sex and what they do and what they like... It's got nothing to do with them!

If people were capable of sleeping with someone and keeping their mouths shut about it it wouldn't be as big of an issue.

To boost their own egos? 'Oh he/she hasn't had as much sex as me, I'm the better/more attractive person...'

People are just interfering little ****s (not all people). Society is flawed, it is majorly unbalanced, leaning significantly to competition as being more positive than cooperation. This spreads throughout all aspects of life, keeping up with the jones's in this sense is hilarious though.
