In an exam, if I am asked to explain the properties of the OLS estimators, would it be correct to explain the asymptotic properties of the OLS estimators?
The normal properties of the OLS estimators is that the estimators are consistent, unbiased and efficient.
The asymptotic properties of the OLS estimators is that the estimators are consistent, asymptotically efficient and asymptotically normal.
There's not much difference in the properties but I have been trying to work this out because my lecture notes contain the asymptotic properties and the book recommended to read contains the normal properties.
