I want to get on a course where I can train to achieve QTS. There are a number of issues that I need to find a way through before i can do so and need some help/advice.
I have Maths and English GCSE to the required level. I don't have Science but am doing an evening course to retake my GCSE starting in Sep.
I also have a degree, but to pass level.
I also have a mortgage so taking an unpaid year out to study would be impossible.
On the plus side, I am already a HLTA with years of experience and a school that are really supporting me and would like me on their teaching staff if i could get QTS status.
Does anyone out there know what my options are based on my circumstances?
