not a good feeling!

okay my bf is mostly abroad and so we keep in contact with chat n mail, the thing is sometimes i really feel that i make most of the effort because i write a mail full of gess wots and love yas, but i always get a mail about 3/4 lines long! i understand that he has work and etc but even on the weekend, i mean the only time i do get a long one is when he says sorry for something, i dont know sometimes i feel that the relationship has lost its spark but then when i do recieve the mail my heart starts to pump really really quick!! i dont know is this s normal feeling to have!

hmm.
don't put so much effort into the emails then?
i think your feelings are normal if you expect him to write an essay back, he may just be someone who prefers talking on the phone or in person.

And where is he working, also what kind of cologne does he war?

Oh and what is his favourite food?

What do we careabout your love life, this isn't like some "Health & Relationships" forum where you can post problems about your relationship, I'm sure there are plenty of Agony Aunts on the net; this is THE STUDENT ROOM.

Before I decide whether I want to read them or not, emails full of "gess wot"s and "love ya"s would have to beat my spam filter.

did you mean thanks for me replying? if so, no problem, i appreciate replies too ;D

aah i don't think you should feel like you're keeping the relationship up, maybe you should do what hes doing, be pretty brief in your emails and stuff because it may get him to put in more effort.

or at least tell him that you appreciate him telling you more.? then you'll get to see whether he takes what you say seriously or not.

i dunno what questions you ask him but some people, when they ask heaps of stuff it can be annoying, as if they're too keen.. mind you some people like it, i dunno..

do you often talk on the phone? try to get him to call you if he doesn't email back an essay..

lol thanks!!
we speek during the phone when we both are free, we last spoke on monday for about 10 minutes as his creadit ran out, he calls me, i dont really act clingly, but just questions as how was work, aything new etc i know you could say they are boring but we have out own way of asking, i would probably start to give him a lil reply and actually tell him to write something longer. ill try not to take take it seriously lol like u said but it does put the other person down
yes i ment for replying to the thread! thanks!
