Where can I meet people of a similar age (18 - 25)?

Uni is not a decent suggestion as I've already graduated.

Are you after a bird?

Bars
depends what for, whether it's friendship or relationship, Sport clubs and other society clubs you got a good chance of meeting someone for either friendship or more, whereas in clubs and bars you might meet someone for friendship or someone who just wants a bit of fun for one night.
Ideally, I'd like to find love but that is not a high priority. I figure by putting myself out there and meeting people, eventually making friends, I'd have a better chance of finding someone special.

Clubbing = too noisy, can't talk
Job = current job - most people are older than myself, and I'm too shy to talk to the only girl that is my age. I also found out that she has a bf too.

You guys have to remember that I'm going to have to embark this on my own, with no support from any friends at all.

bus stops
Join a (good) gym, it's a great place for getting talking to people, and as an added bonus any girls you meet will at least be quite fit! plus, you get to stay in shape too

bars aren't bad places to meet people, and not all bars are the type of bar where people only looking for a one night stand go.

and if you talk to said work colleague maybe you could go out with her and a group of her friends, if you were friends. I bet she has some single female friends.

it really does depend on what type of people you're looking for. various places are libraries, cafes, trendy bars. but don't just sit there as you'll look like some perveted man eyeing up young people. nah, it's best to get a part time job or something, maybe in the evenings that's not too stressful and then you should meet people of your age who go into trendy bars etc. or maybe pick up a course at a language centre? you might get people your age there.

If you think clubs are too noisy then why not try pubs?

NOT on here??

although there are many interesting people on here, and yes people do get together from talking on here, you still arnt 'meeting' them.... (well maybe some of you do) but not to the extent as you would elsewhere
I think if you followed some of the abundant advice you have been given in all your other similar topics then you would have met some of those people, so like I said in your last thread you really need to get out there. I'm sure you've noticed that you aren't getting any new advice that you haven't heard before.

If you've got the confidence, just talk to girls in normal everyday situations. Such as whilst getting a coffe during a lunch break.

- At university, or where ever you are educated, or work.

- On the streets, perhaps?
