Leather Jackets... how are they seen?

I was thinking about buying a leather jacket; namely the one seen in this thread. However, do a lot of people associate a man wearing a leather jacket to be gay? I got a worry that people may assume this seeing me wear it. I seem to recall a fashion thing being that gay men wear leather jackets. (I am not having a dig at gays, don't worry) Is this the general feeling? Just want to find out more about this before I purchase. :smile:

I don't agree with leather jackets, as I would prefer the animal to be alive, but I don't deem a person who wears one as being gay...

The gay connotations are there I guess, though I wouldn't think a guy wearing a leather jacket was gay. I rather like leather jackets, some are very cool. I'd rather like one myself. I never really 'got' the gay link with the jackets. I thought leather trousers were more overtly gay.

i LOVE leather bombers, especially brown-the ones with a type of baseball/stadium jacket collar and elasticated cuffs and waitstband

not feeling the one in that photo though

there not cool. middle aged men wear them.

if me or one of my mates got one, they would NEVER hear the last of it.

only people ive seen wear um at school were this freek crew and they had like breif case etc. haha

but gays, nah not a thought in my mind, just wierdo....

my opinion anyway!

couple of my leathers i found photos on from a fashion website, everyone used to blur their faces lol not just me haha i sound like such a loser lol
