what are rhe odds of winning?

What are the odds of winning a game of bingo consisting of 52 numbers when your grid consists if 9 numbers. There are 100 participants. What are the odds of your 3 x 3 grid being called out before anyone else? The caller will only be calling out 1 to 52 though...

I am interested in how to work this out.

It's certainly about there, but you've given two different criteria.

The situation is complicated by the fact that two grids could be completed simultaneously.

Your grid being completed first, is slightly different to your grid being called before any other, as the latter case excludes a tie.

I think that in the first case the odds will be slightly shorter than 1 in 100, and in the second case slightly longer than 1 in 100, but I've not tried to work it out in detail.
