I had a bag from M&S that I got in December which barely made it to the end of my AS exams, so I need a bag which is pretty, will look good with most clothes and actually survive. I'll probably end up buying loads and using different ones each day, but I'm going to try not to. I don't carry folders around - only a notebook and textbooks for each day, pencil case, phone charger, purse, other small things etc

Are New Look bags any good? Which would be better of these?

Or does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you!

A nice bag from Zara is always a good 'investment'. I had a large roomy one that I used pretty much every day for Year 13.

the ones from newlook don't look that good quality and I had a backpack from newlook last year which didn't last well as the straps were the fake leather stuff and the broke with all my books etc spent half the year with them tied together with knots (not a good look) . out of the two I'd get the tote even though they can be a pain on the shoulders. but if i were you i'd look round for some better quality ones and maybe look to spend a little bit more round £30-40 because all the bags I've had under £30 have been really bad and broken and look in shops which have good reputations for bags e.g zara, acessories, river island etc.

I got a vans backpack for this year It seems good quality but I can't tell yet and I don't think it will be your kind of style form looking at the pictures you put up.

The first bag is great for the first week, but it'll get dirty, and plus you'll have a lot of books to carry. So the backpack seems best IMO

Does it hold books? Yes? Then it's a suitable bag.

Pound land carrier bag xD

Na for real look in TK Maxx they got some cute ish

Topshop got a sale on their bags, they're pretty cute too.

If you look on a website called polyvore type in what you want and it'll come up with different websites and shops that sell the item.

Happy shopping! 😋

I had a Longchamp Le Pliages tote at sixth form. They were really popular at my school and loads of girls had one. They do a large size with a long handle which is perfect for carrying everything you need and come in lots of nice colours. I stopped using it part way through college as I got a new bag but I still have it and it has lasted me very well so I'm sure it would get you through college

I had one similar to that tote from New Look but the zip broke within the first week. I'd probably go for the back pack it's really cute, although I do like the tote but not for carrying books. Also I had a similar backpack from accessorize in the sale about two years ago and it's still going strong so maybe have a look at theirs? It was the same style as this one http://uk.accessorize.com/view/produ...1.1/6890670100 but different pattern. However I got mine in the sale for about £12 so I don't know if this one is too dear for you.
