Desperately trying to be released from my contract for this year
Hello everyone,
Due to health issues and personal reasons, I decided in May to move back to Ireland from Plymouth. Unfortunately, I signed a contract for a house back in November.
The house is absolutely beautiful and there was still one bedroom not rented out which left the free room and my room. I told the letting agents that I wouldn't be moving in the day I decided to move back home and they reassured me that they had confidence the room will be rented out for this year and said they'd advertise it. Of course, I also advertised it and got the other tenants to advertise also.
So now there is 27 days before my contract is due to start and I am freaking out because I do not have the money to pay the rent if they can't find a tenant.
Is there ANY way I can be released from the contract if another tenant cannot be found?
