Dating your one night stand

Is it even possible?

Guys, would you have any respect for someone you slept with, became friends with and then found out she wanted to date you?

Im not sure to even bother bringing it up! But we've become such good mates that it kinda makes sense.
right? :hmmmm:

I mean, what is your girlfriend to you really.. other than a good mate that you sleep with? :dancing:

More than likely (if this applies to you) the guy won't be bothered about you. One-night stands are just that - they're for one night.

Anyway, don't try the old logic game ("what is your girlfriend to you really") - fancying someone follows no logical rules, so applying logic to the situation won't clear anything up. :p:
Stop stereotyping guys saying "he won't be bothered about you" because as it goes I have dated a one night stand, yes it didnt last long but still I dated her for a couple of months
If you start going out afterwards surely that declassifies it as a one night stand...
nah, cos with me it happened then a couple of months later we started talking cos we met again so it does count really. I mean to be fair if any guy or girl has sex first time they have ever met u they are both proper slags, yes me included, but i was really drunk and it was new year..... haha (yes i no, no excuse!)

"More than likely".

(sigh) Where do these waves of illiterate morons come from? If I say "more than likely" I don't mean "absolutely definitely *insult* *insult*". I'm male too, you know.

One night stands are simply one night stands, its not dating, i personally would not do it

My last three relationships evolved out of what were supposed to be one night stands, so it does happen. It's not the ideal way to get together with someone though, these days I prefer to get to know the person before I see them naked.

To be honest, if you have a one night stand with someone, i doubt the main thought while you both are quickly throwing your clothes on the floor is "I think I want to have a relationship with this person". One night stands are all about sex. Otherwise it would just be one night out. Its most likely that dating someone who you have had a one night stand would be sex orientated. After all if you've slept with someone on one night stand, its likely they will expect this again. Though thats not definate, everyones different i suppose.

However, I can understand the feeling of maybe wanting something more to happen after a one night stand. Though whether the other person wants that or not is unknown. It would obviously be better to get to know someone, date them, then sleep with them, but it doesn't have to be that way. If its what both people want then thats up to them.

In my opinion, if a girl has slept with me after just meeting me, for a one night thing, i would not see her as gf material. I wouldn't really want a serious relationship with someone like that. **** buddies fine, long-term relationship, not so good.
I think it would be alright, as long as you haven't got an awful reputation lol. Out of interest, where abouts in NW Kent are you from?

you wake up and ask his name XD
Hmm, so if a girl felt attracted to you and really wanted to **** you, that would exclude her from potential relationships? Ah well, some people are just missing out.

Oh.

Criticism noted.
I dated a one night stand for a couple of months and had a good laugh. Why not try it?
I got drunk and slept with a guy. We woke up in the morning and both were like "wow you are really attractive and great to talk to" in the sober light of day, which neither of us expected I guess!

We dated for 1 month and it only ended because I left the country. We still talk regularly and he really wants to date me if I come back. I met all of his family and they kept telling me just to stay and marry him as we were such a good match!

So yeah, it's possible, but it's not likely I'd say
