If I remember correctly it's the trade off for a person between using their time for working or leisure. Each has an opportunity, as to work you must give up leisure and to chose leisure you must give up the money gained from working.

Basically, it's how people spend their time, some may prefer to work long hours to get more money, whilst others would rather maximize leisure time instead, hope this helps!

Thank you lovely people! It helps a lot!

One more question. Does "restriction of close policies of trade union" means that trade union cannot only protect one particular working group whom are the trade union member?
