Aat seem incredibly interest if you show a tiny bit of interest. If you so much as go on their website they will call you, send you info. They also email and get back to your email immediately. I noticed they also hound this website. Is it me or does it make it seem like they are just trying to sell you something rather than a regard for whether you'll get a job out of it. It is almost as if they are trying to sell you insurance or a gym membership.

Yes they are selling and are possibly doing so more aggressively than other bodies but when you're a lesser known qualification (compared to ACA, ACCA etc) then you need to do this to get yourself known.
I only take exception to it when the AAT clearly isn't the most suitable option, I think it's good business otherwise.

Not really, it's a business after all and needs to make money. ICAEW is on this website as well (though I haven't seen her post in a while). I think it's good for them to have a presence here as some people might feel more comfortable talking to them through TSR.
