Job prospects BSc vs MPhys

Does a masters degree offer greater job prospects across all areas or is there no advantage? I don't want to do a Phd in physics, so I'm wondering if there is any point in doing the masters year.
Masters > Bachelors
...for job prospects.

Everyone has a damn 2:1 these days, you need to differentiate yourself.

Do you think so? I read that having a masters doesn't make any difference to your job prospects unless it's for a specialised field. Slightly confused now. Thanks for the reply.

Depends, most grad schemes want a 2:1 (regardless of uni and subject).
If you wanted to go into something more technical, a masters would help.

Depends what you want.
