Always feel cold, getting fed up

This might sound a bit weird but Im always cold, no matter what the weather! This isnt a new thing, Ive been like this for a few years and I really dont know why, even when the weather is hot I still feel freezing regardless of what Im wearing. The heating is always on full blast at home and despite wearing loads of pairs of socks, wooly hat, a couple of jumpers, I still feel freezing. My feet and hands constantly feel like blocks of ice!

This is really starting to piss me off as I cant understand why, its not like Im underweight or anything and I eat loads, is there anything else that could be causing this??

Is you name Nikki Grahame? Sorry, but she seems to sugger from same problem. It's probably poor circulation caused either by smoking, being overweight, lack of exercise, or some other problem I don't know about. Or it might be that you're quite underweight (like Nikki in BB) and that's why you feel the cold more.

See a doctor and get it checked out. It could be a couple of things but best to make an appointment with your GP

Im definately not underweight, Ive already checked against my height and I am fine.

I dont smoke and do plenty of exercise so I cant understand why, will ask my GP next time I go to see if he can suggest anything.

could be poor blood circulation. I feel cold alot and wil wear jumpers/coats when no-one else is. Summer evenings in UK I freeze if I'm wearing summer clothes.
Sounds like low blood pressure, i once had a friend who was cold even when it was 32 degrees, it was quite weird i was really hot then she put a hand on me and it was freezing cold her hand.

I'm always cold too, I think I just have really bad circulation. It also seems that I just like to be warmer than other people, though, so I'll think I'm cold, when actually I'm no colder than anyone else, I just prefer to be warm. *shrugs*
I always feel cold when everyone else is fine too. I just put on more clothes despite them thinking I'm strange, or cuddle up.
I have no sympathy for Nikki though! Of course you're cold in a skimpy piece of material.
Could you be iron deficient? I have anemeia (lol I have to learn how to spell) and when I forget to take my iron I get really cold and tired.

I have the same problem. Book an appointment with your GP for a blood test to rule out any problems with your thyroid glands and anaemia. I had the all clear after my blood test and they have ruled it down to just having very poor circulation, my toenails are always blue/purple and my feet are so dry, im suprised im not diabetic actually with the state of my feet

I got real cold sometimes... hands and feet always feel it and used to suffer from them going numb alot when I used to work outside alot!! Just bad circulation in my hands and feet. And if I'm moving around when its a bit chilly outside then stop, I freeze... not many peeps can say they were sat out on an august day with a thermal vest, big jumper, snowboarding jacket and a huge gortex jacket with a massive wooly scarf and baseball cap on and still shiver :frown:

I'm usually quite cold and think it could be a thyroid problem. They are hereditary and my mum has an underactive thyroid, causing her to be cold and tired most of the time and makes it easy to put on weight. I have exactly the same symptoms as her so I think it could well be that. Having a blood test done in a week or two so that'll clear that up either way but it's a possibility.
I'm always cold too! I've got slightly low blood pressure and apparently that's the cause. I need to stress more or something.
im like that its because in my case i have thin blood because im from brazil and the heat over there compared to here or soemthing. itsn ot a bad thing

mine do that in the winter.. you can see the bloody slowly draining out of my fingertips. They go blue/purple first then they turn white. So sexy.
