How to ease pressure from a promotion ?

Well I work security part time at football grounds and door work, it mainly involved work at football matches, I have been working as a response steward for 3 years and last year, I covered the supervisor role where I was second in charge and had a radio and maybe ejected or had a work with the fans. Now I have been given a permanent promotion, second in charge, however I still dont know everything I need to do and they said for derby games I will be the first in charge which can be pretty daunting as the crowds bring risk supporters.


So how can I ease the pressure bearing in mind I have only done a few games as a supervisor and at time I cant really ask for help as I may be in the middle of an incident. I have a bit more pressure on not to mess up as the managment choose me as they trusted me and know I can do a good job.

So how can I ease pressure, I was just thinking after a little experience I should be ok what do you suggest ?
