Prickly heat......

I always get really painful prickly heat even though i do what experts tell you to do. But i got back from Turkey last Saturday (19th), and whilst the prickly heat has gone down, i've been left with white spots on my arms and legs. Is this normal?

The prickly heat has (i get it in the UK as well as aboard), but i never get the white spots after!

Tis hedgehogs...I would recommend a couple of Jack Russell Terriers to be taken twice daily.

I get this occasionally....the white spots will go in a day or two.

Use Piz Buin Allergy sun cream in future to prevent it in the first place. Works a treat for me.

definately agree with the piz buin allergy cream but make sure next time you start to use it before u go on hols, sounds silly but i assure you that it will make sure it doesnt occur, Also a anti-histamine tablet wouldnt do any harm.

I take anti-histamine for my hayfever and insect bites (i must be walking dinner for them) and have continued taking them since i got home but they don't work....

Anti histamines work for some ppl and not for others. There can be desensitization to there effects dut to long term use. However like any drugs, some work better for some that they do for others

I always get prickly heat on one part of my left hand and never anywhere else, and I always get white spots,they go after a few days, but longer if you scratch them like I do, I am so bad.. I just put some salvon on, you can get hydrocortisone if its really bad but that can dry your skin out. (its what eczema sufferers use)
