How easy is it to start a band at Uni?

Hey - the title pretty much offers the basis of the thread, but I'll extrapolate a little.


I've been in a band for over 2 years (typical Rhythm/Lead/Bass/Drums/Vocals outfit), but if I get the results I want then I'll be going to University in September, leaving the band behind for a while. When I go, however, I want to play in a band still, since it's such a great way to spend time, and I enjoy it so much. So, a few questions:

Is it easy to get a band together at University, even if you don't major in a music course?
Is it easy to find others who play instruments?
Do people even take instruments to Uni?
Are there places to practise?
