I'm a spoken word poet, been writing and performing for a couple of years and will be performing at the Albert Hall in September for the national poetry slam final.

I've written an article on how to write spoken word poetry, if anyone is interested. The general principles apply to any other form of writing, hence the brackets in the title.

Enjoy! Any feedback appreciated. I hope it helps anything about writing spoken word or anything else, or helps people understand the process better.

Cheers
