Not really, I found some modules fun when I got to talk about diet and strength. speed & power training, but it was also filled with crap like working in the sports industry, health and safety, coaching and other crap I had no interest in. The was a slight bit of biology in it, but it didn't go into much depth and I didn't really understand it, just sort of whinged the coursework.




At the time it was hurling, (GAA) but I don't play that anymore, I started playing lacrosse last year but injured myself so had to stop. Hoping that will become my new favorite sport. At the minute I'm quite into the more extreme sports such as mountain biking, snowboarding and kayaking.





At the minute I'm considering getting into the energy/resource industry, working as an exploration geologist for either an oil/gas or mining company, then do an MBA and get into the management side of things.

If not that then I'm considering finance/accounting roles with some of the big banks in London.

You will require a masters degree in Geology first.

Maybe, I was thinking something more specialised if I decide on a masters though. Maybe something closer to engineering than geology such as Mining engineering or geotechnics.

No offence, but how can you do geology/petroleum engineering with a btech sport?

I'm doing Geoscience at Durham, but considering switching to NatSci, I need to tell with which I want to do before the A-level results come out. Hopefully I can get a 2:1 and get onto a good masters.

I already finished. I did a BTEC Sport, it was worth 3 A-levels. Then I did a foundation year in engineering.
