i've been in bed for almost two years and i dunno what to do

i don't have the willpower to get out of bed. when i do, i just go downstairs and lay on the sofa til it's dinner time, then come up to bed again.

i have a few friends who come over every so often.

i haven't even been claiming jobseekers or any benefits due to this. the thought of going out even to the local tesco or dr takes over my whole mind and i can't do it.

i don't know what to do. sometimes i lose the will to live.

I think when you get stuck in a slump like this taking little steps is probably the best way of getting out. For instance, get up and brush your teeth one day. Maybe the next try to have a shower - you can go back to bed after, it's just that you need to take little steps to get out of this pattern.

Do you think it's possible that you could be depressed? It isn't really normal to not have the willpower to get out of bed. Maybe you could try looking up symptoms of depression online and see if they match how you feel.
