Chest Pains

On Sunday Night I suffered xextreme severe Chest pains. It went from inside the ribs in my left Shoulder behind my Breast then shot accross my body and Down my middle. It was intense and lasted roughly 5-10 minutes Continuous whenever i breathed in. However after that time it became an occasional twinge between the ribs and the breast bone. after bout five minutes it was an echoed pain not there but still leaving an ache.
It left me out of breath for quite some time and feeling quite sick almost to the extent of vomiting. I called NHS and they eventually told me to go to hospital. However I was afraid and exhausted and would have to walk there so did not go.
I then was ON the phone to BF and fell asleep almost instantly.
What strange is i did not wake up when he put the phone down Like i usually do. So i must of been well out of it. I am wondering if anyone is willing to Offer advice to what this may be or what could of caused this.
Many thanks

Could be a pulled muscle in your chest? I had that a few months ago - agonising pain everytime I breathed in or out (but wasn't as bad if I held my breath). Went to the doctors and they gave me some slightly stronger painkillers on prescription and that sorted it after a day or two.

With a username like yours, I'd have chest pains too. Go to the ****ing hospital. If the NHS couldn't help you over the phone, what are we meant to do?

Sorry I'm not too good at diagnosing problems for Mystical Magical Mythical Angels.

I suggest you consult a qualified vet.

Well, you should have. And they did speak to you if they asked for your name. Why did you not ask for an appointment of some sort while you were there? Did they just say "you should have been here on Sunday" and you walked off?
midnight???
and yes your sig is like half a web page.it's too big.

Agreed. It takes up an entire page on my screen (1280*1024), and that's without opening the spoiler. And added to your name... pff, it's the most pretentious tripe I've seen in a long time.

Speak to NHS Direct, or ring for an emergency GP.
Well unless you go to your appointment tomorrow you are not going to get any better.
