I'll be going to either Loughborough or Leeds Met at the end of September and would like to know if anyone could offer their advice, speaking from their own experience, on whether to play for the uni team, local semi pro team or both (hopefully the latter)?

If playing for a local semi pro team is recommended, how would I 'get my foot in the door', seeing as the football season is underway?

Also, are there any coaching opportunities within universities?

Thanks.

Hey, just giving this a little bump in the hopes someone will see it and reply!

Have you found Connect yet? It's really useful for finding other people on your course/University!
