NHS Medical Card
I've heard this term thrown around, but I can safely say I've never heard of them in my life - am I supposed to have one? How do I get one? Will it turn up within 2 weeks before I go to Uni?

You are supposed to be given one when you are "born"??! I haven't got one either, you can get your NHS number from your GPs, but I've never seen an NHS card - the new E111 might be the same thing ?

I once filled in an E111 form for a holiday... does that count?

an NHS medical card tells you your doctor and some other strange info.
I didn't have one, but they gave me one when I registered with a doctor at uni. Don't worry about it too much, but look after your new one.
