:( i look urgh....

ok i know that everybody should be happy with what they've got...i kinda am but i think my face is letting me down.

the most striking feature of my face is my lips....there's a massive black spot on there and its so eye catching its really annoying me.

my lips got chaffed ages ago and i started picking at it with my teeth...then it got worse and worse: everytime it started healing i would bite it again, like a scab.

now its a black thing on my lips and its really affecting my self esteem....i know its only myself who iv got to blame :frown:

any remedies for this, or any ideas on how to boost my self esteem? im really down at the moment...

Not everything is about looks. Don't let a black spot get you down.

Most things are!

... Yeah... you may need a doctor for that.

eek, that sounds kinda painful. you might need to go to the doctor but wouldn't lipbalm help? Something pretty strong like blistex/something for coldsores? hard to know without seeing a pic though.

i look urgh too.
well, sometimes i think i do but then again i don't really care what bit of me isn't in the right place, and why my right ear sticks out a tiny bit more than my left ear, and why both my thumbs are so different, but its the way i was born and its the way i want to be so yeah..

the black spot thing is kinda cool i think  you know how to japanese when they do the full on makeup thing, the big black spots on different parts of their faces,it's kinds neat and cute hehe. but go see the doc,and try using lots of lip balm to stop the chapped lips.and try not to let it get you down :hugs:

cindy crawford has a mole above her lip which became her trademark. Don't get too down about it, most people are insecure in some way about their appearance.

Dont worry about little things. My eyebrow over my left eye pokes up a bit, like an upside down nick tick lol. When i was younger i was teased about it. I cut the poking up bit before so it looks like normal, but now for years and years i havent touched it. It does not bother me i dont think about it at all, no one says anything and infact on the rare occasion that someone does mention it, its a positive coment, iv been told it looks 'cool' by a few people depsite the fact that up to about 5 years ago people would tease me aobut it.

oh for gods sake. One of my eyes is smaller than the other, my nose is bent, and my lips are small, i have to accept it, the black spot should go away if it doesnt oh well, only chavs/ immature kids would notice enough anyway.

Its just internal bleeding probably, which will heal with in a month or two.

i think loads of good lip balm, no biting of the lip (self control! i know how annoyingly natural those teeny habits can get) and some time (i s'pose i'm repeating what everyone else said, but why not?) will make it pass! don't worry  i have friends that have that on their lip (i know at least two) and its nothing!

as everyone has said, just keep using some form of lip moisturiser, and if you're female would lipstick not cover it? even just a pale lipstick

Reply 13

Dont worry about it ffs.

dont bite your lips. I do it all the time so I know what you mean. Once I stopped doing it my lips became clear again after about amonth. Lipsil helps a lot, or any oil (yes even veggie oil) to keep your lips moist and safe from the wind.

I had a birthmark on my cheek and the bridge of my eyebrows thats turned into moles.I think they are horrid and want to have them removed. Its always bugged me.But the fact of the matter is there is always something about us that is attractive - even physically.Instead of zoning in on the bad points, try and think of the good bits for example enhance what you like about the way you look.Ive been told I have nice eyes so I wear eye makeup and it makes me feel pretty
Theres sooo much to life than just that as everyone said.

Either I must be blind, or I really can't see anything wrong with your left eyebrow.

Thats because a photo is a mirror image and so it will be on my right in the photo.
